I bought this shelf to add some functional space to my tiny home office work. My desk is 3 feet, 3 inches wide and 15 inches deep so I needed a way to maximize the space. This tiny bamboo shelf is just the ticket! Installation is as easy as it gets. I used an electric drill because I'm lazy, but the instructions say you can use a regular screwdriver. I'm terrible when it comes to home improvement projects and even I couldn't screw it up. I'm the guy who starts a project and 5 minutes later calls my cousin for help. The shelf is sturdy, looks good, and hangs securely on the wall to hold things. Shards have been mentioned in some reviews. The wood is rough, but that's part of its appearance. Never hit rough wood with your hand. Again, I want to emphasize that this shelf should have an aged look. You have to specifically try to hurt yourself to get the shards of it. B. with a hard hand movement over the front sight. As with most products these days, the instruction manual itself isn't that helpful. Luckily it's only 2 legs and a few screws, so there's not a lot of stuff here. Youtube is a great resource.
