Revain wanted to test the patch cord, ie the cord that connects one light to another, so you may only need one outlet (or wired) for multiple lights. The lights and associated wiring are supplied by Jasco in Oklahoma (also good sales advice from these folks) but are made in China. After a month we are VERY happy with both the cables and the fixings. Warning: When purchasing these patch cords, be sure to select the cord with the correct terminations for your device. These lanterns are sold under different brand names, but all use just a few different types of sockets in the lanterns and plugs on the cords.
