Over the years I have ordered packs of these boxes in most sizes and the packaging has always been the same and the quality is really good. They are durable and look beautiful. The white color is dense and smooth. Easy assembly, all clear. And they fit easily into tons of stuff, light or full-size laptops, hold their shape and look great. I would recommend them, even if they are basically just expensive boxes. However, I have just ordered two more of the largest (Mega) and was planning on getting more. And they each came in a plain cardboard box with a sticker on it, rather than the usual fully branded retail packaging. It was weird, but hey, it was probably more economical and dustproof, so no big deal. Much easier to open. However, for both, the color was patchy rather than solid and uniform. They look different when I bring them to others. This was a disappointment as they don't look as pretty right away and don't match anything else I have on the same list. Then I put them together and it's harder than usual and the final assembly doesn't feel as structurally sound even though the process is pretty much the same. The first one wasn't too bad, but the second one didn't fit perfectly at the bottom, so he folded in the edge and corner. The center on the short sides is not quite right, one corner has been torn off, the other is held together inside with black tape (that's how it arrived). It doesn't look like the boxes I've ordered before and for the price it sucks. There are many small differences, but they add up to what shouldn't be. So if you get the ones I had before, they're great. If you can get those cheaper non quality checked versions they aren't worth the price and I'm not sure. I mean, good boxes are a serious challenge for a simple box, but at least they're nice, light, look good, are sturdy, etc. Why would I pay so much for something else with such little quality control?
