We have not tried the mattress yet so I cannot comment on comfort. What I do complain about, however, is the carrying case that comes with it. When you open a sealed plastic bag mattress, it immediately begins to expand as it should. I wanted to roll it up so I can store it when we're not using it. Impossible to get into the tote bag. Five of us tried unsuccessfully to roll it up, use the straps that came with it, and put it in a carry case. If you use it for camping or for a car trip, just be aware that the carry case doesn't work and the mattress takes up a lot of space. I don't know how to put it in my closet? For your information.
