1156 not the same as 1157

Great product but not suitable for my application as I did not research beforehand. This is a 1156 type lamp base with a contact point at the bottom. Used for a special function. IE only blinkers. What I need is a 1157 type lamp base that has two contact points for separate functions. IE turn signals and parking lights. The bulb is well made and all LEDs work as expected. Very bright and far superior to conventional glass bulbs. If you only want a single function amber bulb, I highly recommend ordering this.
