The pen is heaver than most pens I've used in the past. Even some of the all steel pens. And it is mostly weighted on the back end of the pen where the bolt is.The bolt action is clean and well built, however, the chamfering on the notch for the bolt is sharp. I mean, I opened a box that was taped shut kinda sharp. After a little while using it, I don't run my thumb afoul of it anymore. It is now my go to pen.I took a chance on this one and it paid off. It was one of the first bolt action pens I found recently that didn't look like a stupid bullet. I could just see me pulling out my bullet shaped pen to take notes at a meeting and HR stopping by to "chat" after that.I got the stainless steel one, but the different colors also look good. If I need a new pen, I just might have to snag that red one and put red ink in it.
