stays unconnected and came with a missing part.
My son has the same headphones as me and the same cable. His works are great and have all parts. I'm missing the part that hangs on the rubber mount, that's a thicker plug. Mine is missing that part and both ends don't want to stay tight so I have to push them in many times. I have submitted this information but have not received a response from the company as to whether they will send me a free one. Nothing from them. I think mine is a damaged returned one. Wouldn't recommend it.
