Having gotten my hands on an actual carbon fiber wallet, I'm naturally a little snobbish about the simulated pattern that the weave of carbon fiber has on a leather (or "leather") material imitates . I was a little surprised at how unwieldy the addition of just four cards made the wallet, at least compared to my trusty wallet with a very similar design but with a bill compartment instead of a money clip. The clip has a pretty standard design and is pretty cool. . It includes a decent amount of notes, but also makes them available for all to see (especially if you're a 'big role'). While real bills are fairly rare, the money clip really only adds bulk but doesn't make a good home for small papers like receipts. In this case, a dedicated bag is a much better solution, at least in my opinion. This also applies if you don't want to show your cash every time you need an ID or a credit card. There is one hidden compartment that has become the norm these days. The drawstring pretty much pushes the card into the outer pocket (without having to open the wallet) and should come back when the card is reinserted. It works for the most part, but the ribbon is about 10mm (0.5in) longer and dangles more than I think it should when the card is fully inserted. All in all a good wallet, especially for the price. a bit thicker than I like (but not bulky by any means) and the money clip can certainly divide opinions. These aren't the option you want when it has to be real carbon fiber material, but they're pretty good rare (and expensive) anyway. ).
