Soft wool socks do NOT scratch! And they are machine washable. Our 7 year old regularly grabs them with snowshoes. Excellent purchase.

- Excellent quality and warmth. Doesn't itch. Mid-calf on my older kindergarten child.
Cons
- The socks are made entirely of wool which may not be suitable for girls with sensitive skin or for those who prefer alternative materials such as cotton.
