Review on Anchor Hocking 6-Ounce Custard Cups with Lids: A Set of 4 Perfectly Sized Cups for Delicious Custards by Callie Boyd

I received two similar bowls in a baking set from Anchor Hocking about 4 years ago. These bowls have been used so often in my kitchen that I considered buying more and luckily they are still available. As other reviewers have pointed out, the lids are actually useless. Old bowls have lids that fit perfectly, while in this case the lids look the same but fit very poorly. I honestly don't care about the covers. I have many other glass storage containers. What I love most about these bowls is that they are made in the USA (that rarity in this country). I can bake individual cups of custard/custard and serve it in a bowl. I used them in the oven at 370 degrees Fahrenheit. I think the maximum allowable temperature was mentioned in the box, but I don't remember that now, and I also doubt that they will be as heat resistant as expensive moulds. But for the price, you won't find better quality, more heat resistant bowls. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
