I read some of the reviews before purchasing, so I will respond to some of the comments they made. The packaging is excellent, nothing was damaged and the box could be taken and banged and nothing would have been damaged. The instructions were fine. Is collecting furniture ever fun and exciting? No, that is not so. You have to be careful and take your time. When thrown together. the final product will appear assembled. I think I understand why some reviews say the top breaks on reassembly. The instructions state that if the screw holes don't match, flip the cover over and try again. The instructions also say not to overtighten the top. I didn't and nothing moves. When the furniture settles, I can pull myself up a bit, but that's normal. Also, there is some "play" in the top crossbars that hold the top down. Let me explain, two rods come together to form an angle, they are held together by a screw, when you tighten the screw, if the parts are not aligned, the resulting angle will not be even. Then if you put a straight board on a curved corner, it will break. Make sure to use your other hand as you tighten to ensure the corner is where it should be. The picture shows that the 40-inch device is great for a small room with an extra monitor and little storage space.
