I fed this to my lab for 4 years and chose lamb because of her chicken allergy. It always worked until the last package. In early August I noticed that the bag was taped to the bottom instead of having to be cut open as usual. He smelled different, I actually remember noticing that. I needed food so I went ahead and fed them. After a week and a half I noticed that SHE - THE DOG - was also starting to stink. Her ears stank, and even the smell of her breath wasn't right. I switched her food (to Rachael Ray Nutrish with Beef) and after 4 days her smell was gone! So I felt better, got the food refunded but I could tell my bitch still had an ear infection, I took her to the vet (office visit for $35, she had an ear fungus infection that needed a bottle of solution ear treatment for 68.00). apply for 3 weeks. So yes. In short, I see other reviews from people noticing changes in the texture of food, the smell of food, and that the wrappers are just "glued" through the hole. Something is really wrong here. Unfortunately I have to refrain from that. I've been a very, very loyal customer but until I get confirmation or an explanation I'm leaving.
