Review on Vilano Springs Premium Quilt Cover Set: Soft, Wrinkle-Free, Fade & Stain Resistant, King/California King Size, Bright White - Includes 1 Quilt Set and 2 Shams by Kathy Wilking

I am pleased with this quilt. The fabric is very soft. Out of the box the overall construction was stiff but loosened up after the first wash. After a thorough examination, I had no defects or seams or seams whatsoever. I bought two full size/queen size quilts. Gold for the hostess (Queen) and bright white for the guest bed (Full). This blanket is sturdy but not too heavy. It is excellent for all year round. My husband and I sleep at different temperatures. He warms up easily and I try to stay cooler. Currently (winter, Alaska) I'm wearing this over a flat sheet and knit blanket. In the warmer months we will likely remove the top layer. "Gold" changes depending on the lighting. It's definitely a true gold color in natural light (photo below) and becomes more yellow in artificial light (laundry room lighting). Although they also wash well, I don't currently use pads. I have attached a picture of the gold quilt on my queen size bed (cream and red floral). It drapes well over my mattress and hides the box spring well. I want the corners to be square instead of rounded. This creates a more modern/updated look. It attracts pet hair, so have a lint brush handy. This patchwork quilt compares well to its cotton counterparts. I will come back and update the information when I have an opportunity to put together a guest room.
