This charger is disappointing. It does not use magnetic charging and does not "fast charge" the iPhone. It comes with a viscous silicone pad that sticks very well to shiny surfaces like the bottom of the charger. Note that most dashboards are not glossy, as this can glare the driver unnecessarily. My Miata's dashboard is stained and the sticky pad held up well for the first few days. I can no longer vouch for this as I returned the charger because it stopped charging. It's very flexible and I heard a crackling noise when trying to install it on the dashboard. After that he stopped working. It probably has a fragile board inside that has broken. Also, it doesn't hold the phone with a strong magnet, it just has a tiny suction cup. These chargers have six or more of these suction cups. I didn't feel my rather large iPhone Pro Max was safe. I wouldn't trust my phone to stay in a tight corner at high speed. $30 is four times what it should be. $7.50 would correspond to the inferior quality of this item.
