First I look at GSDM002. This is a durable product made from durable material. The gas spring arms are definitely strong enough. I have a 32" Benq EW3270U and an older 24" Benq GW2450. Second, my story is somewhat atypical. I have an old oak table that is 3/4" thick. Along the back of the table is a support beam 1.25" from the edge. So the back edge wasn't deep enough to use the clamp mount. I had to do the installation of the stub.I encountered my only problem with this product - in my case the center pole was pulled "out of plumb" under the weight of just one monitor.As shown in the picture I have three holes drilled into the table and screwed the round base plate onto the table. After that the central plate doesn't move a millimeter. On the underside of the table however these bolts interfered with the large plastic handle of the center bolt supplied - see picture. For the few people who care As far as I'm concerned, the best replacement for that center screw is the M10-1.5 x 50mm metric ($1.62 at Home Depot.) I received this wrench with an extra washer and my easy custom install was complete. I really had fun with him. My only real problem with this whole setup is that the vertical pin on the base of the round socket isn't long enough. When I grab the monitor and move it, the middle bar rotates slightly and the other monitor moves slightly. It doesn't lean or anything, but I wish this pin held the center bar tighter. A minor issue though, and not one that would cause me to use a different setting. So not perfect, but satisfying.
