This would be excellent for students and daily commuters. It feels sturdy and looks simple but the details are thoughtful, well designed and implemented.I love this backpack! Contact and info to extend the warrantee is printed on the tags.Top flap for weather, YKK zippers, padded & reinforced straps, padded inside pockets, padded back with airflow channel, easy access to the main pocket, two front zip pockets and 2 side water bottle pockets with a bit of stretch, quick adjust on straps with a loop for the extra length.The water bottle pockets easily fit a 3" in diameter water bottle and I could partially fit a travel cup that including the handle was 4.25" at it's widest point. The travel cup was pretty stable but I don't know that I'd use the pocket if it had anything in it.The smaller top front pockets zipper is concealed by the flap closure. Zippers are stamped with YKK and work smooth. The bigger front zip pocket has a clip for keys.The main compartment does not have zipper closure because of the easy access feature. There are two pockets for small-ish items, plus a padded tablet pocket plus a padded laptop pocket. There's a lot of room in the main compartment.Dimensions using a soft tape measure with it flat are pretty close to the dimensions in the description (17"x12"x5").If anything changes while I'm able to edit, I'll update this.
