Bought in Fall 2015. Great laptop. About a year ago it started shutting down for no reason. After some research I decided it must be the battery. The husband took out the battery and reassembled the laptop. Once we connected it to the network, it never turned off again (unless we wanted it to). first to the socket and then to the laptop. He asked why and I explained, because sometimes the socket sparkles when I turn it on. He sighed and told me it probably fried the battery and told me to buy a new plug (charger). Back to study and landed. Thereon. We've been using it for over 2 months now and haven't had any problems at all. This plug/charger saved us from buying a new laptop by the hundreds!
