Advantages: Blue robe is real color, high quality fabric, nice big hood. It is warm and heavy, not only the thickness but also the actual weight is very heavy. Cons: Odd fit. (I'm 5'9, 155 pounds, women's size 12.) It's like they took an XXL and just changed the length of the sleeves and hem. The average waist is 46 inches when the front is closed like a robe (huge for a medium size) meaning that when I pull it tight the right side wraps around my left hip and vice versa. (Which means I can't put my hands in my pockets and it looks like I'm carrying something terribly big.) Or when I'm trying to gather everything around so the pockets are in place/the belt is on, looks it evenly out huge. The fabric is too heavy to drape, so it looks like a tourniquet cushion. At the same time, the sleeves and the lower hem are a bit short for me. Those WDs will likely be right with someone below. The hood is also a little short but probably a good fit for someone under my body. If you don't care how crazy it looks, it's super warm! Chemical Sensitivity: I am extremely sensitive to chemicals. This robe had a faint odor of chemicals from processing. I was able to get rid of it by soaking in salt and water for 24 hours, then soaking in milk and water for 24 hours and washing twice with mild detergent and vinegar.
