Overall this is a good product. If you've been shaving for years, remember that no matter what epilator you buy, it's GOING TO RUSH. Shavig makes hair thicker and fuller. The thicker the hair, the more it hurts. Epilators pull out hairs, so it's normal to see a little redness after each use, but IT'S GOING AGAIN. If your skin is damp or you apply lotion before epilation, the hair will fall out and you will not get good results. YOUR SKIN MUST BE DRY for best results. I have had a Remmington epilator for ten years. It was rechargeable, it came with a case and so on. Because it was slightly heavier, it made less noise than this one, which appears to be empty. I think it was a nicer model, but it works the same. The key to getting good results is a little research and an understanding of how each method works. Pulling hair by the root is always better than shaving. Men's hair is different than women's hair. They have thicker hair and pulling it out won't make a difference in thickness over time. Women's hair thins out over time when you stop shaving. So think about the pros and cons, do a little research, and give it a try!
