Ok, so I feel I need to give a little lesson on silicone dolls here. First of all, silicone is very realistic. It's also fragile as all get out. You have to bathe these dolls biweekly and powder them too. If you don't, they get all tacky and sticky feeling. If you dress them and have anything like pet hair on you, it's gonna stick to them like crazy.You can't dress them in the same clothes you use for your vinyl or reborn dolls either. Vinyl and silicone don't play nicely together, and the clothes will weaken any vinyl dolls you have if you don't wash them after wearing them on the silicone baby.And did I mention fragile? The head on a silicone doll is super floppy like a real baby. The skin is soft, but it's delicate. If you pull too roughly dressing the doll, you can tear it. Rips in silicone dolls are not repairable.The most common spots to tear are the fingers, mouth, and arms, but the whole body is really quite delicate.This doll is about 8 pounds. He is so soft and snuggly to hold, and he comes with two magic bottles and a paci. Do not force them in to the mouth, this doll's mouth is closed. You can rip him by pretend feeding him to harshly.He does have a penis and testicles. Girl silicone dolls do have vaginas. If you're not comfortable with that, stick to cloth body dolls.He's got the cutest little outie belly button.You can carefully wrap his little hand around your's, and he'll hold it. It's the cutest thing ever.An artist made silicone doll will cost you around $1000 for a bargain baby. This is absolutely a great deal with that in mind.So. While this little sweetie is safety tested for 3 and up, he's far too fragile for even the calmest of kids.
