45 year old woman writes this after 4 nights using Olay Regenerist Retinol Night Eye Cream + Regen/Retinol Face Cream + Regen Serum. The face is pretty good this morning, but upon closer inspection I realize I'm actually seeing a thin layer of skin peeling off (see attached photos). These are small spots around the eyes and face. I've read that this is normal for the first few weeks of using a retinol cream, so we'll see what happens. I also feel some itching and irritation, especially around the eyes. I read on a medical website that this is also normal and that if possible it should pass in a few weeks to get over it. Aspirin or ibuprofen is recommended for quick relief. I'll have a quick drink of Advil. My thoughts - I can deal with flaky, flaky skin as I'll be working from home for the next few weeks - but only if it's temporary. Because I think the scrub will be noticeable even with makeup on. I'll try to post an update in a few weeks. Good luck everyone!
