I love the Mangroomer for what I can do with it - it looks less like the offspring of Bigfoot and Chewbacca. The extra wide head allows me to get the job done quickly! Just keep the blade clean and lubricated and you'll get pretty much out of it. Although Mangroomer recommends replacing the head every 6 months, this is an arbitrary length of time: depending on your usage, you may need to replace it more or less frequently. I suggest you have a replacement part ready and set up a recurring purchase once you have a better idea of how long it will last you. On the other hand, it cuts the hair very tightly but does not smooth the surface. A razor head is provided but in my experience it's not worth two farts in a hurricane and I don't bother with it. However, this extra wide trimmer head is great and one of my go-to grooming tools. Highly recommended!
