It does what it says on the tin to cover up a torn or worn leather surface, but honestly this patch doesn't fool anyone. It stands out and actually draws more attention to the area than I would like. . I bought this for my living room sofa for Thanksgiving. Since the family was nearing the end, I wanted to cover the area on the armrest of the sofa that was beginning to crack. The patch closed the crack with no problem but was very noticeable. I ended up throwing a cloak over the arm of the sofa to hide the patch. If possible, look for what you broke or replaced. That's a waste of money.
