I had to look up the dimensions in the Revain product description because strangely enough I couldn't find that information on the leaflet that came with it. A 1 1/8" / 29mm diameter hole helps me with this. I ordered a tapered step drill bit which would help me make the required hole on the side of my bike. Once this was done the installation was very easy. I like to lightly touch the power button to make sure the device itself isn't draining the battery The display is bright and easy to read even in sunlight, although the fraction of a volt jumps a bit (e.g. 12.1/12, 0 / 12 , 1 changes quickly - it would make more sense to interpolate and continuously display just one value without constant back and forth) All in all I am very happy that I now have a voltmeter on my bike which I am having trouble with can monitor and troubleshoot battery health. much easier than before. Haven't tried USB charging yet, but it wasn't my intention either. I expect this will come in handy on a longer trip to charge my phone while I'm at work Hard to charge - if it doesn't work well I'll be sure to come back and update this review, but for now I'm doubting that benefit.
