Apparently I'm the first customer to buy these stools and leave a review as there were no reviews for Revain at the time of purchase. It made me a little wary of buying them, but they looked beautiful and went perfectly with my steampunk reading lamps and steampunk table lamps that I made myself from plumbing parts. All materials are of good quality but some of the welds seem questionable, see attached photos. I'm not a big heavy guy at 180lbs so they should be fine for me but I'm worried about accommodating a taller guest if they come to visit. I think time will tell if the welds can withstand some abuse from guests weighing over 200 pounds. Assembly was fairly easy and took about 10 minutes per stool. Just follow the instructions that say some nuts only need to be 50% tight so you can adjust the legs to attach the toe ring and then tighten it all the way. The box also has a hex key and one of those stamped metal keys that will fit, but you'll also need a Phillips head screwdriver to attach the wooden seats. Screwdriver not included. The price is quite reasonable and I found it cheaper to buy than to make my own so overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will likely be buying a third stool for my playroom in the near future.
