1. Significant gap between mattress and slatted frame (risk of suffocation/pinching). Books and a tube of Vaseline for the scale. Even with added straps for stability, I don't recommend using it for co-sleeping. To be installed in combination with a full mattress and a Zinus bunk bed frame.2. Big bottom guide bend (further increases play).3. Overall quality is ok.4. If there was a way to reduce the overall length of each rail for a more snug fit, maybe that would work. Send back for a refund.5. The warning label says 'NEVER use if the bed rail is not snug against the mattress' - unfortunately this is not possible when four rails are connected together.
