Excellent In terms of sound and size, my ears tell me this is a cheaper package for the now-discontinued 4-series innards, which got great reviews at a much higher price point. I had several pairs of 4s. After sleeping with them every night and flying hundreds of thousands of miles in the air, as well as using them during the day for at least a few months, the wires came loose somewhere and I bought a new pair. My last pair, which are now loose, lasted about 16 months. or more than 5000 operating hours, most of which are tossed around. They seem to last longer as the wire inserts have been changed and a thicker plastic cover has been used. As with the 4s, the sound is top notch. The form factor fits almost everyone and won't fall out. The size of the tip offers comfort and excellent noise reduction. It is identical in construction to 4s, there is no new replacement model! And you don't have to buy a separate set of sleep phones. I ordered a set to test. Just ordered two more. At least I have to live the next 5 years. By then, I expect someone to come up with a design that lets you sleep comfortably on your side. Enough.
