This is a great wheel if you are just starting out.

This is a great wheel if you are just getting into console racing games. While it's far from a professional racing wheel (starting with a 4x price jump on consoles), it's a definite step up over a controller, especially for a game like Project CARS. The steering is more precise than with an analog stick, and the pedals offer much more precise control than a controller trigger. Personally tried with Project CARS and Driveclub. - Can be used in controller mode with various sensitivity settings or as a steering wheel with sensitivity and other parameters controlled from the game menu. - Feels great for a $100 product, has good grip at 3 and 9°. clock positions. The rest of the steering wheel is plastic, which feels cheaper. - Effort on the steering wheel feels constant, centered right back. - Paddle shifters work well and feel pretty good. Some problems (see cons) - Attaches very well to most table tops (as long as they are not very thick). Cons: - The wheel is on the small side (but far from tiny). - Force feedback is not included. - The resistance of the bungee cords inside the device is a bit high - has a rotation of about 270 degrees. It's not a GT steering wheel, and again, you don't have to work as hard to steer it. - The pedal is strong enough for long-term use, but does not have a reliable grip on the carpet or floor. If you only play with one foot it will slide everywhere as there is no effective counter (you may have to put something in front of it to block forward motion). If you play with both feet like me, it's pretty easy to get control of.) Tip: plan ahead where you're going to place this wheel.
