I suspect most people will just want to pack this in their car and I think that will do. Big but not too big. But for my purposes - in the van - it's too small. It is NOT large enough to maximize how much you can fit in a standard plastic grocery bag. That's about half the volume of a grocery bag. And it really sucks. Also the velcro on the back came off the bin after I glued the velcro to the wood panel. He won't get up. I totally regret my purchase. As I damaged it trying to convert it into a stand I cannot return it. So this garbage can goes into the garbage by itself.
