The base is too small and the sisal too narrow.
I was sure it was a bug. There was definitely no sisal scratching post in that little box. Well I was wrong. You managed to get in there. There are 2 things that bother me. 1 sisal rope is very narrow. I think my cats will soon gnaw through it with their claws.2 The base is small and light. They've reflashed it many times. It's not good on the ground. Otherwise it's well made, but two fatal flaws break the deal. For a small cat that would probably be fine. But I have adult cats and they are used to a standard size perch. I guess I'll come back to that.
