Great cloths for young children

We have young children and found pin board cloths to be much easier to keep clean and maintain with all their splatter, drops, etc. I change our napkins according to the season and the lemons were perfect for summer and looked pretty and fun in our farmhouse kitchen. They were good enough to stay on a table or on an island where kids often eat breakfast and are easy to wipe off in a minute or two. They have been used all summer and are still in very good condition. We "lost" a seat due to a bad liquid spill that wasn't cleaned up immediately. So this is a disadvantage - if a lot of liquid is spilled on them, they will spoil (compared to cloth napkins, which are made for washing, etc.). For that reason, I always buy an extra pack of these (well, every tissue) just in case one breaks or needs to be replaced.

Pros
  • Heat resistant materials up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit, expensive cloths
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
