With enough light or a tripod, the EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens can take some interesting shots, but in my opinion, it is better to take a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens and/or an 18- 135 (new or used), as for shooting video โuniversalโ is more convenient, and for portraits 50 or 85 mm with f / 1.8 aperture it is more interesting in terms of creativity.
