Beautiful chair. The colors go great with my decor. It wouldn't hurt to use more durable wood. It's solid, but I'm wondering how the footrest rails will hold up. Many have mentioned the metal plates they added, I believe their main purpose is to add strength. If someone uses this footrest as a step, there is a good chance it will break. And while the fabric is nice, if you have someone slipping off the seat I can see the possibility of the fabric starting to pucker. But overall it's a very good stool and I'm glad I found a stool I like. As for the seller, I had trouble getting a second stool. So far I've had to return three because they either had the wrong color nailheads or a version with a shorter stem was sent in error. I hope what I get today will be right. 🤞
