I bought a medium size gray for my stocky chihuahua mix who I think weighs around 13-16 pounds? It's nice and spacious. I probably should have gone with the small size. Quality bed, my dog loves it. My other smaller female Chihuahuas (maybe 9-10 pounds?) fit in a medium sized dog bed with him. So for a size reference, a big, fat Chihuahua and a smaller, little Chihuahua will fit comfortably next to a medium-sized one. 😂🤣 The inner pillow pulls out for washing and the rest of the bed has a removable zipped cover. I bought this because it claims to be machine washable and no one has time to hand wash a dog bed. If I order again I would order the small size because only the fat chihuahua loves dog beds so this is only for him and the medium size fits but takes up more space than it needs. My mom brought her 20-22lb pug and he fits both a medium size and on his own comfortably with little room to manoeuvre. Any dog taller than me would take the next size up. But then again, her pug is small and fat. 🤔 I hope this helps someone.
