Ideal for the elderly and/or disabled - people with vision, hearing and dexterity problems. My grandfather has recently become severely blind and needs hearing aids. Because it doesn't see well and wobbles, the standard strap is too difficult to put on. This strap is stretchable. He can just press a button to hear the time and we set an alarm so he knows when to go to dinner. He can't see the display, so a loud, clear alarm with a large button was important. We could not find any other watches that meet these requirements. If you are buying this watch for a loved one you may need help setting it up. It syncs the time and date very well with radio waves, and it comes with a battery installed, although the alarms need to be set. But there are easy-to-read instructions and a link to a YouTube video by the company. An extra set of batteries was thrown in too! This watch is a great product that really fills a need and does it well. Update: I noticed a typo so I clicked edit to fix it, but I just want to add that I visited my grandpa last month and noticed he's still wearing this watch - I have a review Written after I bought them for him and programmed them back in 2017. They still work and he can use them even though he's completely blind now.
