Review on Effortlessly Transport Heavy Furniture with SOYO Furniture Lifter Tri Dolly Capacity by Ramon Hood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good to have: Trolleys

We just moved into a new house so we had to move a lot of furniture. These tricycle carts are really easy on your back. They stay in place and roll very easily. However, there are some disadvantages. The lift arm can be longer to give you more leverage. We had a heavy electric leather sofa, and with a crossbar that short it's not going to make sense. Another problem with the bar is that the end just hangs out (doesn't stay straight). I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I added a washer to secure it. Carriages have a cut-out in the middle. It is designed to accommodate table legs. The kit includes "height stands" that fill the hole so you have a flat surface to place under the object you are moving. That's why I used them most of the time to move heavy boxes. The pads are great but fall out very easily. The pads have a stud in the center that fits into a hole in the carriage to help center it, but the pad is not fixed in the carriage. I would prefer something that compresses these pads a bit so they don't fall out as easily. I'd love to try putting a bushing in the hole - if I can find a box of my bushings. I was thinking of giving them 3 stars for the shortcomings but I've used them a lot and they came in very handy so I decided to give 4 stars.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
