Bought a new sofa. My cat thinks she has a new scratching post area. He often climbs on the couch to play so I need to find the right means to stop this selfish dude from ruining my new couch! This project seems like the best choice to me because it is a large volume that covers a larger area than the volume I studied. It's easy to use, unlike the sewn plastic wrap I've used in the past. I had to screw the studs into the sofa and make sure it wasn't flush. My naughty cat bit through the plastic sheets with her mouth and pulled out the pins, tearing the fabric sofa more than the cat scratched. This is a good anti-scratch tape.
