I've updated this review to reflect my new review format, but the experience hasn't changed! no I can already feel the rim starting to flex in places and in ways it shouldn't, but I don't expect it to break anytime soon. The panels themselves are made of quality material and so far the case has endured many trips! As one commenter helpfully noted, "The reflector folds into a 16-inch diameter carry case, which is about 3.5 inches (but can be shrunk to about half)." FUNCTION Does this thing work as it's supposed to? Absolutely. As I said, it is made of good materials and still holds up great. I'm a professional photographer, but I never overdo it - I'm a big believer in the little guy. The versatility of this little reflector is excellent - you can use it in almost any situation and I switch from silver to gold to translucent on the same shoot because we all know that changing the angle on the road can completely transform your lighting! Works very well as a backache if you have a helper to hold it! Overall Would I buy this again? Absolutely. The impeccable quality of this reflector at the price paid makes the cliché "best value for money" almost bearable! Of all my photographer friends, none can single it out as a budget reflector, and a few people have had it redone. It has stood the test of time (see updates below) and that's about all I can ask or expect. Equipment is still valid! I use this thing on most location shoots that don't require an external flash and you can't go wrong with portraits! Highly recommended so far! You can either order from Papa John's this week or grab a great reflector of your choice. I cut them off, burned them with a lighter to prevent further deterioration and have had no problems so far. My initial fears of it flexing in the wrong places have been completely dispelled - the thing is still solid. Highly recommended!
