Arrived quickly, excellent. Unfortunately, the information center in our jeep immediately told me it was "NON STANDARD CABLE DETECTED". This cable powered up the Garmin Nuvi 1490 for a few minutes, but then the Garmin started rebooting every few seconds, rendering it useless. Garmin works with the original cable and battery, but not with this cable. Luckily it was very cheap so we only had a small amount left. Follow up: These people contacted me immediately and gave me a full refund without returning the item! They justified themselves as they sincerely believe in the product and its effectiveness. The lesson is: buy a genuine Garmin part!
