Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Razer Wolverine V2: A Next-Gen Wired Gaming Controller for Xbox Series X - Remappable Buttons, Mecha-Tactile Action, Hair Trigger Mode, and More - Black by Joe Michels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Improved design and my favorite controller so far. The best controller I've ever had.

There are pros and cons below if you choose to skip it. From the first version, the buttons on the back have been eliminated, which is great for me. The Wildcat was one of my favorite controllers and I loved the ability to add buttons on the back if I wanted to. But in the end I found the buttons on the back a little over the top. With the Razer Wolverine V2, you get extra bumpers without worrying about something getting in the way of your grip. The material they used around the grips makes it easy and secure to hold the controller. It was awkward at first because of the shape of the handles, but that passed quickly. 0 drift on the controller even after I removed the dead zones. This quality is hard to come by, no matter the controller in my experience. If you're looking to buy a controller, I highly recommend it. Pros (based on my personal preferences) - 0 drift, buttons feel great and are responsive. (I'm not sure I've had any luck with Drift 0 on joysticks. Haven't seen a complaint about that yet.) - Comfortable, and the grips make it easy to hold the controller firmly. (I really like the material used) - They removed the buttons on the back of the controller that were used in previous versions. At first I liked the opportunity to have them, but eventually I found them a little over the top. Best controller for the price. (A PowerA Fusion Pro controller would be second at $80, but it falls short in my opinion. It's not a bad option if you like the style of high-end paddles, though.) (You'll need the Razer -Download the app to program to customize the buttons as well as all other settings to your liking. This applies to both PC and Xbox users. The app can be found in the Microsoft Store. You cannot disconnect the cable from the controller. Has a gap with USB. The Cable material is standard and not the mesh you usually see on razer products thats all i hope this info was helpful like the direction they took with this simplified and improved is a good way to describe this controller .I need 2 extra buttons and I like the location of the buttons next to the bumpers.I will update the list of cons later depending on durability. If it's like wildcat in that regard then I have great ate hopes. (This controller is 4 years old and still working lol.) Sorry if this review was too long, I don't write reviews very often.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
