Everything works as it should. It comes with a separate USB cable, so you need to plug it into a USB power source. The magnetic charger is built into the stand, so you simply place your watch on the stand and it will charge. Well! Some mounts require the magnetic charger that comes with the watch, but it is built into the mount. This allows me to use the one that comes with the watch for travel.
