Follow the size chart based on head circumference
My son's head circumference is 17.3 inches (44 cm) and based on reviews of this hat running small I have a 24 month size ordered. I had to go by the size chart and order size 18 months. Even though he's tall he still wears it but I have to keep adjusting it as it covers his face and turns to the side. This is not Zutano's fault as I followed the reviews and not the size chart. My suggestion would be to order a size based on your child's head circumference.
