This blanket will stand up to everyday use and abuse, to be honest! I kept it on my desk in my office for daily warmth, I take it home and wash it regularly and the quality stays exactly the same, the softness hasn't fluctuated. To be honest this is one of the softest duvets I have ever used. It definitely warms me up. I think it's a great value! As far as abuse goes, I've rolled this blanket around on my office chair more times than I can count and I've gotten stuck in the chair's casters a few times, there isn't a single stitch of wear or tear in the fabric, this thing is built tough ! I can't stress enough that being abused is enough, and he's holding on to that with all his might.
