Assemble Loosely First
We just got the quilt ladder. It was in great condition from shipment. When putting it together use a Phillips screwdriver, a flashlight. Lay everything out put it on a card table (easier on your back). Put it together sliding dowels into the holes without using screws yet. Now use flashlight line up holes and put all screws in loosely on both sides of ladder.This allows some twisting the steps to get all screws started.Now tighten all the screws up so there is no gap between the steps and rails. Great Job !
