I am very happy with my $50 headphones. Noise canceling is great! I have a very loud kitchen alarm clock and when music is on and noise canceling is on I can barely hear it in the other room. I bought them to reduce noise on my BART commuter train. Works perfectly. The sound quality is pretty damn good too. I'm amazed by these people looking through a dozen different headphones they supposedly bought. They try to pretend that this is their hobby. I suspect they are hired to review their employer's products and make them look good BEWARE! I'm not an audiophile, but I know what sounds good to me. I'm so glad I didn't spend $100-$300 on a similar product. It is excellent. What would I improve? I wish they would fit my ears better! I've had them for a few weeks now and have failed at home a few times. Luckily they didn't fall out on the train. You have this hard-to-remember compression system to answer calls, skip to the next song, go back to the previous, toggle on/off, skip, etc. ANC. I don't think I'll ever understand that. Wouldn't it be great if they had an app for your phone to control everything?
