I was looking for a good alternative to swimming trunks because I'm not satisfied with the appearance of my legs. It is great! I'm 5ft 10, about 240 and I wear XL/16 pants. I ordered 2 sizes up (size 20) as I know how swimsuits can fit sometimes and wanted to make sure they weren't too tight. I think 18 would be just right but they fit perfectly. There is enough space to be active and enjoy time on the beach, in the pool, on the boat and I don't have to worry about how I look or how my pants fit. I can still wear my normal clothes. The bottoms are underneath but they are lined with built in swim underwear although not very thick. Update: LOVE THIS! They were fantastic for a weekend at the beach and a day on the boat. I had no problem getting them down. I've washed and dried them with no problems either, can't believe I didn't get them sooner.
