This bed is used almost 24 hours a day. My dog had all the symptoms of a possible herniated disc in his spine with severe pain and partial paralysis. With anti-inflammatory and painkillers on medication, plus mandatory packing and minimal activity like urinating outside, he's carried or confined to lying on this Petlinks bed. We have a 2 week or longer phase of this rehabilitation during which we hope to prevent permanent damage to his spine. He is on the mend and has learned to use his hind legs again. I feel this bed gives him the body support he needs and is comfortable enough to lie on for that long.
