Doesn't play real MP4 files as described, only MP4V using almost nothing.
Advantages: Good price. Plays DVDs including DVDs created by users. Plays some AVI files from a USB port. but does not reproduce it. The seller says "A suitable format code for mp4 should be (.MP4V/.MOV) with a resolution up to 720*480." It is not a standard MP4 file, actually .MOV is an Apple format. The description is completely misleading and if I had known it didn't play standard MP4 files I wouldn't have bought it. So far I could only play DivX AVI files. Conclusion: I will return it as I bought it as a gift for someone who can play MP4 files.
