Poor quality, the battery doesn't last
I put a fresh 9V battery in the device. It lasted a day and the device died. It picks up all kinds of sounds automatically. The wind or a car passing on the other side of the fence can provoke it. When I tried to replace the battery, the negative side of the connector came loose along with the dead battery. I'm not sure how effective this is because it wasn't enough to get my neighbor's dog to bark.
