GREAT QUALITY - VERSATILE USES - CHANGING THE PH OF HARD WATER

I have been buying citric acid from various manufacturers for many years. That is very high quality. There is another citric acid on Revain that costs less but does not consume due to the strong chemical smell. I use this for multiple purposes: 1) Salt replacement 2) Lowering the pH and alkalinity of the water for birds/pets so they can properly absorb nutrients from the feed. Bird legs break and they fight and cause me and them to inhale diatomaceous earth - does not occur with citric acid 5) put in poultry water as it increases absorption of doxycycline and some other antibiotics (synergism). If you check pub med, studies show that citric acid works as an antifungal and keeps the water bacteria-free (although it should still be replaced daily). If you make your own lotions, toothpastes, creams, etc., you can use some of them as a preservative.
